Scope of application

These General Conditions apply to the registration of a participant (“the Participant”) at an event (the “Event”) organised by the CONSEIL NATIONAL DU CUIR, to the exclusion of all other measures.

Any Event organised by the CONSEIL NATIONAL DU CUIR is by its very nature a professional event, and any Participant is by their very nature, a professional in the sense of the opening article of the French Consumer Code.

Registering for an Event online implies full acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Registration - Contract

Registration for an Event is possible online via the Event website (the “Site”). Registration will be valid once payment has been received and processed. Once the CONSEIL NATIONAL DU CUIR has received a registration application and the corresponding payment, the Participant immediately and automatically receives confirmation of registration. Payment is via bank card using a secure payment system. Details of your rights acquired as a result of registration (access to the event/catering/entertainment, etc.) are set out on a case-by-case basis on the Site before the application for registration is submitted and are confirmed once the registration has been completed.

Rates - Payment

Rates are per Participant. The applicable rates are those in force on the Site at the time of registration.

Obligations of the participant

Each registration is valid uniquely for the Event to which it refers and cannot be accepted for another Event.

The Participant will receive their badge in the registration confirmation email. The access badge is nominative, non-transferable and must be worn for the duration of the Event. The Organiser reserves the right to carry out identity checks during the Event to ensure that the wearer of the badge is the person to whom it was issued. The Participant undertakes to respect the regulations displayed within the Event venue. The CONSEIL NATIONAL DU CUIR reserves the right to deny participation in the Event to any person who does not respect this undertaking.

Modifications - Cancellations

Should the Participant wish to cancel their participation in the Event, they must advise the CONSEIL NATIONAL DU CUIR of their decision by email at infoatconseilnationalducuir [dot] org and provide bank details.

If this procedure is respected, the CONSEIL NATIONAL DU CUIR will reimburse the Participant according to the following conditions:

  • More than 30 calendar days before the Event, reimbursement of 50% of the registration cost within 30 days of the end of the Event, by bank transfer.
  • Less than 30 calendar days before the Event: the entire registration cost remains applicable and no reimbursement is possible.

If the conditions for reimbursement are met, the CONSEIL NATIONAL DU CUIR will reimburse the amount due by bank transfer.

If necessary, and notably if a speaker is absent, the CONSEIL NATIONAL DU CUIR reserves the right to modify the programme of the Event.

If the CONSEIL NATIONAL DU CUIR finds itself obliged to cancel the event, it undertakes to inform Participants as soon as possible. All registration payments made by the Participants will then be reimbursed but no additional indemnity will be due.

CONSEIL NATIONAL DU CUIR may not be held responsible and no reimbursement will be forthcoming if the Event is cancelled or delayed because of a case of force majeur or a fortuitous event.

Intellectual property – Image rights

The presentations made by speakers and the documents distributed or shown during the Event are protected by copyright in application of articles L111-1 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code. Under the terms of article L 122-4 of the French Intellectual Property Code, “any full or partial representation or reproduction made without the consent of the author or the beneficial owner or legal successors, is illegal".
